We saw both Le Vent du Nor & Dervish. Both absolutely brilliant and different. Sound was amazing and size of this wonderful venue just right. We sat in the balcony both times. Atmosphere amazing in this beautiful hall. Good well stocked bar. All staff helpful & pleasant. Bought a couple of things at their charity shop earlier in the day. We will definitely come back.

Miss Victoria’s Pop-Up Emporium and Refreshment Gardens is one of my favourite places EVER! It is just amazing what the management and staff are doing to keep the “oldest music hall in the world” afloat in these difficult times. The outside cafe though is brilliant. Delicious home made cakes, coffee and tea. Draft beer and gin and tonics also available. I have had two very restful sunny Sunday afternoons there. Do visit. I’ll be back again if it is sunny on Sunday. Say hello. I’m in the shade drinking tea and eating cake and wondering if I might be allowed a G&T this week..

What a gem of a venue! The oldest surviving music hall in the world, depths of history and it is a beautiful place to put on a show. The staff are really proud of the place, and rightly so. They are also fantastically helpful and friendly, and we absolutely loved working there.

This venue is simply brilliant, I’ve been to a few events here and it’s always a friendly and inviting place. Tonight was a complete sell out and understandably so, this band are brilliant. The atmosphere was superb.

The venue helps; it opened in 1853, and is the oldest surviving traditional Music Hall in the world. Expertly managed by a great manager and a superb team of volunteers it just has a homely feelgood factor that is hard to match elsewhere. The musicians appreciate this and the shows here are always special.

There’s a well stocked bar and easy parking 30 seconds walk away. You can even choose to share a little cafe style table feet from the stage!

Look them up on the internet, the quality of the bands and musicians (and everyone else who appears here) is second to none.

Highly recommended.
