MISS VICTORIA’S REFRESHMENT GARDENS
Miss Victoria’s Refreshment Gardens are now closed for Winter 2026. Thank you so much to everyone who has visited and enjoyed the gardens this summer, and a huge thank you to our amazing team of staff an volunteers who make the gardens such a wonderful and special place to be. We’ll see you again in summer 2027, but in the meantime, look out for some special Halloween and Christmas events- more details coming soon!
The community apple press is still running Fridays and Saturdays, 10am-2.30pm until the Saturday 17 October.
Miss Victoria’s Refreshment Gardens are a tranquil outdoor cafe and performance space in the heart of Settle, directly behind Victoria Hall. We serve a delicious range of cakes, bakes, light lunches, and drinks, with gluten-free and vegan options available every day, and a licensed bar. All proceeds go towards the maintenance and running of Settle Victoria Hall.
The Gardens make a perfect outdoor performance space for live music, theatre, family entertainment, and cinema. Our upcoming shows in the garden are listed here. You may even find some local musicians dropping in unannounced for an informal session or pop-up performance.
The Refreshment Gardens are available to book for your function- contact us to find out more.
Community Apple Press
Our community apple press is available for use on Fridays and Saturdays until Saturday 17 October 2026.
We recommend minimum 1-2 large shopping bags to get the best out of the apple press. Half a bag makes around 2 litres of juice, so make sure to bring enough containers to take your juice away with you!
Please note, this year there will be a small charge per press-load to cover the costs of the press and staffing. For large amounts of apples (more than a wheelie bin!), advance booking is required- email us at the link below to book a slot.
“Wonderful courteous staff and lovely home made baking—-delicious. They made you feel so welcome”
