A fisherman's son is offered the ultimate privilege to study at the Al-Azhar University in Cairo, the epicenter of power of Sunni Islam. Shortly after his arrival, the university’s highest ranking religious leader, the Grand Imam, dies and the young student ecomes a pawn in a ruthless power struggle between Egypt's religious and political elite.
TRAMPS (The Ribblesdale Area Moving Picture Show) is a not-for-profit voluntary group that provides a high quality, low cost mobile cinema service to run film events at community venues. TRAMPS films at Victoria Hall run on the first Wednesday of the month, and are normally foreign-language films. TRAMPS is not a cinema club; all are welcome to film showings, and there's no subscription or membership needed.
