‘The NE Street Band’ are a 6 piece group of North East musicians performing the songs of Bruce Springsteen.
The band have gathered great momentum over the past couple of years or so playing at some great venues both up in the North East & around the UK getting rave reviews from their high energy live Springsteen shows.
In 2022 the band performed a number of stripped back acoustic shows all of which subsequently sold out receiving amazing feedback from fellow Springsteen fans who loved the intimate, fun & engaging nature of these shows, as well as the more varied set list, so they decided to keep performing this version of the band at selected venues so we are delighted to confirm they are bringing this version the band here on Sunday 19th November.
These shows include a number of the folk inspired ‘Seeger Sessions’ tracks as well as reworked & acoustic versions of the classic tracks, hits, duets & cover versions from Bruce’s eclectic back catalogue.
Instead of loud electric guitars & pounding drums the band is made up of acoustic & slide guitars, flute, harmonica, upright bass, percussion, brushes, tambourine, saxophone, piano, accordion & harmonies galore.
A must for any Springsteen fan, or simply a fan of great music…
