Formed in 2020, An Dannsa Dub (led by Tom Spirals and Euan McLaughlin) have been making waves. Twice nominated for Live Act of the Year at the Scots Trad Awards as well as the '23 SAMAs, the band has garnered critical acclaim for their ability to seamlessly blend the mystical sounds of Gaelic song and traditional Scottish instruments with the pulsating rhythms and deep basslines of digital dub.

An Dannsa Dub have electrified crowds across the UK festival circuit and beyond, including Glastonbury Festival, Celtic Connections, Dubcamp (France), and Goa Sunsplash (India). Their distinctive sound, fuelled by top-tier musicians, continues to captivate audiences worldwide.

Following the success of their self-titled EP ('21), which received airplay on BBC from Don Letts, Craig Charles, Tom Robinson and more, their debut album ‘Air An Turas’ ('23) further solidifi ed their global presence. The album’s unique collaborations with artists like Cian Finn and Lana Pheutan earned critical acclaim, rave reviews, plays across the BBC, and led to extensive tour dates.

2025’s ‘Through The Storm’ marks a major evolution for An Dannsa Dub, boasting stellar co-production from the don, GAUDI and mixed by dubmaster Paolo Baldini Dubfiles, along with an array of exciting guest features, including Junior Dread, Lewis McLaughlin, Josie Duncan, Horseman, corto.alto and Rachel Newton. With its diverse influences and boundary-pushing sound, Through The Storm promises to be a defining moment in the band’s journey.

An Dannsa Dub continue to cement themselves in the international circuit with a constant stream of performances both as a full live band featuring Euan & Tom alongside Ben Burnside (Drums), Nicky Kirk (Guitar), Maxi Roots (Bass) and often Josie Duncan (Vocals), and as a Live Dub Show featuring just Euan & Tom live dub mixing plus live fiddle, flute and vocals.

Tickets £19

  • Most of our shows use ‘cabaret-style’ seating. This means that your seats will be unreserved, which allows you to decide where to sit when you arrive.

The stalls (downstairs) are set up informally, with chairs around small tables, for a sociable, relaxed atmosphere, and somewhere to put your drink. Cabaret seating also allows space for dancing, which is highly encouraged at Victoria Hall!

For those who prefer a more ‘traditional’ theatre experience, the balcony seats are laid out in rows and raked, ensuring all seats have an excellent view.

For parties of six or more, tables in the stalls can be reserved- contact us to reserve a table. If you have reserved a table, we ask that at least one of your party turn up at least 30 minutes before the performance start time, in order to secure your table.

We can always reserve seating or wheelchair spaces in the stalls for those unable to use the stairs- just let us know when you book your tickets.
