In post-World War II Denmark, a group of young German POWs are forced to clear a beach of thousands of land mines under the watch of a Danish Sergeant who slowly learns to appreciate their plight. German, Danish and English, with English subtitles. Cert. 15.
TRAMPS (The Ribblesdale Area Moving Picture Show) is a not-for-profit voluntary group that provides a high quality, low cost mobile cinema service to run film events at community venues. TRAMPS films at Victoria Hall run on the first Wednesday of the month, and are normally foreign-language films. TRAMPS is not a cinema club; all are welcome to film showings, and there's no subscription or membership needed.

As World War Two comes to an end, a group of German POWs, boys rather than men, are captured by the Danish army and forced to engage in a deadly task - to defuse and clear land mines from the Danish coastline. With little or no training, the boys soon discover that the war is far from over.
